MEET YOUR DOCTOR
My name is Dr. David
Ginsberg and I have been practicing chiropractic since 1990. Since
my sophomore year in high school, I have wanted to be a
chiropractor. I attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois,
where I studied pre-medicine, biology and played on the varsity
tennis team. Wanting to get out of the cold, I attended Palmer-West
Chiropractic College in San Jose, California, where I graduated Cum
Laude in 1990. After graduation, I practiced in a large multi-doctor
clinic in Fremont, California, for 4 years. In addition to seeing my
own patients, I performed all of the exams, x-rays and therapies for
3 doctors which gave me a multitude of clinical experience. I also
worked part-time at a physical therapy clinic, participated in
several research projects validating chiropractic procedures, and
co-authored a chapter on sports injuries in TEXTBOOK OF CLINICAL
CHIROPRACTIC: A BIOMECHANICAL APPROACH. My wife, Shawn and I
loved Northern California, and all it had to offer, but we decided
the mid-west is where we wanted to raise a family. We picked the
Geneva community because it seemed to be a great place to raise kids
and had a lot to offer in outdoor activities.
In 1994, I opened up
Ginsberg Chiropractic at 405 Williamsburg Avenue (the building just
west of here). Since then, I have been helping children with ear
infections, asthma and ADD, as well as, adults with athletic
injuries, whiplash, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome and lower back
pain. I have taken post-graduate training in pediatrics, whiplash,
nutrition and athletic injuries. I specialize in the Gonstead Method
of Chiropractic (see
