MEET DR. HEIDI SCHULTZ

Hi, I'm Dr. Heidi Schultz! Born and raised in Janesville Wisconsin I graduated from G. S. Parker High School in 1998, and University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2002 with a major in Biology-Zoology, and a minor in German. While attending UWP, I was a 4-year letter winner on the Varsity Track & Field team in the throws events (hammer, discus, 20 LB weight throw, and shot put) and qualified for nationals in the 20 LB weight throw and the hammer throw. I was also actively involved in the Biology club and Beta Beta Beta Biological honor society. For graduate school I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. I was highly involved in the Troxell Intern Program as a student and then as an intern. I studied under the late Dr. J. Larry Troxell, one of the professions most esteemed practitioners and teacher of the Gonstead Method of Chiropractic. I was privileged to be able to learn from the best. Dr. Troxell and the Troxell Intern Program gave me the knowledge to know how to find and correct subluxations. I saw miracles happen at his office through Gonstead chiropractic. Dr. Troxell was a mentor and friend and I am proud to say I was able to learn from he and his wife Dr. Pam le Roux- Troxell as a preceptor in their Iowa office. In March 2005, I traveled to Manaus, Brazil on Palmer's Clinic Abroad Program. Thirty students and faculty traveled to spread the benefit of chiropractic to underserved nations. We adjusted thousands of people who traveled far, and waited many hours to see us. For many this may be the only adjustment they will receive in their lifetime. A life changing experience for me and for them. We took a day or to in between adjustments to travel along the amazing Amazon River. It definitely gave me a great look at nature's beauty firsthand. The Amazon Rainforest is so untouched, and beautiful, and full of many undiscovered living organisms. Definitely a life changing experience words cannot describe. I have a great passion for Gonstead Chiropractic. I have seen first hand the results of this specific chiropractic approach, and they are amazing. Gonstead Chiropractic is in my heart and soul, and I have chosen to study it extensively. Above and beyond Palmer College of Chiropractic and the Troxell Intern Program, I have received a 100-hour certification for the most advanced work in the Gonstead system of chiropractic, through Gonstead Methodology Inc. (GMI) in 2005. In my free time I like to participate and watch many sporting events, including rollerblading and anything outdoors. I am a Chicago Cubs fan and enjoy attending baseball games. I have been on a dart league for leisure and fun. I really love to travel and have traveled a lot within the United States, Germany, Austria, and Brazil. I hope to expand on my travels in the future. My mission is to serve and educate as many people as possible that health comes from within, not from the outside, and that all of us have an inborn, "innate" potential to be healthy. Health is NOT about how you FEEL, it is about how you FUNCTION. On that mission, I have enjoyed helping everyone from pregnant mothers to athletes, infants to elderly, and terminally ill to health conscious families looking to prevent illness and disease. Dr. Gonstead once said:

"If there is NO nerve pressure to any gland or organ, the body will produce any drug it needs."
